Class Description: Led by teaching artists Erica Arvold and Erin Dangler, this eight (8) week class focuses on the nuance and craft work necessary to achieve consistent guest star and recurring guest star screen work.

For mid-career actors aiming to expand an established body of co-star work into consistent guest star level craft.

  • Understand the nuances of creating a guest star vs. co-star role

  • Connect to the emotional life of a guest star

  • Create nuanced guest star choices for callbacks

  • Improve your script analysis from preparation to evaluation

  • Know what to expect working on set as a recurring guest star

Participants will practice creating episode long character arcs and walk away more confident in approaching guest star work.

This class is by application only, and a prerequisite to the GSSR (guest star to series regular) class.
